Mr. Mark Carlo O. Tamayo is a seasoned entrepreneur and visionary leader, serving as the Chairman of USBank. A third-generation Tamayo, he continues the legacy of excellence and innovation established by his family. With a solid academic foundation and extensive expertise in business and management, he brings a dynamic approach to steering the bank toward growth and innovation.

Mr. Tamayo earned his Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Asia and the Pacific in 2002, where he cultivated his passion for building sustainable and transformative ventures. He further honed his entrepreneurial acumen by completing in 2006 a Master’s in Entrepreneurship at the Asian Institute of Management, one of Asia’s premier business schools. To deepen his strategic insights, in 2019 he obtained a Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School in the United States, equipping him with cutting-edge global perspectives.
