Branch Manager

Business Development & Branch Growth

• Develop and implement branch business plans aligned with the Bank’s strategic objectives.
• Drive growth in deposits, loans, and other Bank products and services.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the branch’s market area.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, businesses, community partners, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective customers and business opportunities.
• Lead branch sales and business development activities and monitor performance against established targets.
• Identify opportunities to deepen existing customer relationships and increase the Bank’s share of customer business.
• Provide market intelligence and customer insights to support the Bank’s business strategies.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, professional, and long-term relationships with key customers.
• Understand customer needs and recommend or refer appropriate Bank products and services.
• Promote a customer-focused culture and ensure a consistent and professional banking experience.
• Address customer concerns and coordinate with the appropriate Bank units to ensure timely resolution.
• Support customer retention and development of new business opportunities through effective relationship management.

People Leadership & Business Performance

• Lead and motivate branch personnel toward the achievement of branch business objectives.
• Establish clear business expectations and monitor individual and branch performance.
• Coach and develop employees in sales, customer relationship management, and business development.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and customer focus.
• Identify training and development needs and support the continuous development of branch personnel.
• Conduct regular performance discussions and provide appropriate feedback and guidance.

Credit and Business Quality

• Promote responsible and quality loan generation consistent with the Bank’s credit policies and risk appetite.
• Develop quality loan and business opportunities and ensure that prospective borrowers are appropriately referred for credit evaluation.
• Monitor the status of business development and loan pipelines and coordinate with the appropriate credit and Head Office units.
• Maintain appropriate awareness of portfolio quality and promptly coordinate with the appropriate units on emerging customer or account concerns.

Coordination with Branch Operations and Control Functions

• Work closely with the Branch Operations Officer to ensure that business activities are supported by effective operational processes and controls.
• Coordinate with the Branch Operations Officer on matters involving operational, compliance, customer, and risk concerns affecting business activities.
• Support compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that business initiatives and customer commitments are within the Bank’s approved policies, products, procedures, and delegated authorities.
• Coordinate with Head Office units on credit, operations, compliance, risk, audit, marketing, and other matters affecting branch business.
