Director Maria Cristina S. Rosales holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from De La Salle University. She is a Certified Foreign Exchange Dealer with 37 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry.
She held various positions at Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation, culminating in her role as First Vice President, and later served as President and Chief Executive Officer of RCBC Forex Brokers Corporation from 2000 to 2015, where she gained substantial experience in foreign exchange operations, financial markets, and institutional governance.
She is the Chairperson of the Audit and Compliance Committee, having been appointed in view of her extensive banking and financial markets experience, strong audit and control orientation, and deep familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks. She likewise serves as Member of the Related Party Transactions Committee, the Risk Oversight Committee, and the Corporate Governance Committee, drawing on her broad exposure to governance, risk management, and financial oversight functions.
