Director Susan Marie J. Atienza is a lawyer with extensive experience in the banking industry, having held various executive positions for 32 years, providing her with broad experience in banking operations, good governance, and risk management.
She likewise served for three (3) years with the National Citizens’ Movement for Free Elections (NAMFREL), and for one (1) year as Legislative Assistant at the Senate of the Philippines, contributing to her broader understanding of public service, institutional processes, and regulatory environments.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and her Bachelor of Laws (Juris Doctor) degree from the University of the Philippines.
She is the Chairperson of the Corporate Governance Committee and the Related Party Transactions Committee, and a Member of the Audit and Compliance Committee and the Risk Oversight Committee.
